# Psychiatrist and Psychologist for South Delhi, Online and In Person

This is the markdown version of https://drvohras.com/psychiatrist-south-delhi, a page of Dr Vohra's, a psychiatry and psychology clinic in New Delhi. It is information, not medical advice; the clinic's contact details are at the end.

For South Delhi (Hauz Khas, Saket, Greater Kailash, Vasant Kunj, Lajpat Nagar, Defence Colony), Dr Vohra's at East Patel Nagar is 35 to 60 minutes away, so online consultations are the common choice for therapy and psychiatric follow-ups. Psychiatrists and psychologists consult by secure video or voice call in English or Hindi, and the clinic, founded in 1998 by Dr. Sandeep Vohra, MBBS, MD (Psychiatry), is there when you prefer to meet in person.

## Getting to East Patel Nagar from South Delhi

There is no direct metro. Take the Yellow Line to Rajiv Chowk and change to the Blue Line for Patel Nagar: 35 to 50 minutes from Hauz Khas, Saket or Greater Kailash. By car, the Ring Road takes 35 to 60 minutes from Greater Kailash, Defence Colony or Vasant Kunj, depending on traffic.

## What works online from South Delhi, and what needs a visit

Weekly therapy (CBT, REBT, DBT, couples and family therapy, counselling) and psychiatric follow-ups run well by video from home or the office, so the journey across the city is needed rarely, if at all.

Some things are better in person: a first assessment for a child, an ADHD assessment where a stimulant may be prescribed, and any situation with significant risk. For those, the clinic suggests a visit to East Patel Nagar, and the rest of the care can continue online.
