## About Dr. Sandeep Vohra

Dr. Sandeep Vohra, MBBS, MD (Psychiatry), is a consultant psychiatrist with more than 30 years of clinical experience. He founded Dr Vohra's in 1998 as a self-funded mental health practice in East Patel Nagar, New Delhi, and built it into a platform that has seen patients from all 28 Indian states and more than 40 countries.

He pioneered telemedicine in private-sector psychiatry in India, offering video consultations years before the national Telemedicine Practice Guidelines of 2020 made them routine. He serves as Chairperson, Educational Institutional Mental Health Sub-Committee, at the Indian Psychiatric Society.

Under his leadership the clinic's innovation arm developed the Stressometer, a 55-question screening instrument that in October 2025 received India's first patent for an AI-powered digital mental health screening tool, and the Emotional Wellness Index.
