Screening

The Stressometer Patent

In October 2025 the Indian Patent Office granted Dr Vohra's Innovation Labs a patent for the Stressometer, which the clinic states is the first Indian patent for an AI-powered digital mental health screening tool. The patent covers the method by which the 55-item instrument scores responses across five dimensions and generates a colour-coded profile with a matched care recommendation.

What the patent covers

The claims concern the screening method: the structured item set across five life dimensions, the scoring and banding into Green, Yellow, Orange and Red, and the mapping of the profile to a recommended level of care. The patent protects the method and system in India.

What it means

For individuals, nothing changes in how the test is taken. For organisations, licensing the Stressometer licenses a patented instrument with published validation. The patent number and the grant certificate will be published on this page once the clinic adds them to the site's record; until then the clinic can provide them on request at help@drvohras.com.
