About Dr. Sandeep Vohra
Dr. Sandeep Vohra, MBBS, MD (Psychiatry), is a consultant psychiatrist with more than 30 years of clinical experience. He founded Dr Vohra's in 1998 as a self-funded mental health practice in East Patel Nagar, New Delhi, and built it into a platform that has seen patients from all 28 Indian states and more than 40 countries.
He pioneered telemedicine in private-sector psychiatry in India, offering video consultations years before the national Telemedicine Practice Guidelines of 2020 made them routine. He serves as Chairperson, Digital Mental Health, at the Indian Psychiatric Society.
Under his leadership the clinic's innovation arm developed the Stressometer, a 55-question screening instrument that in October 2025 received India's first patent for an AI-powered digital mental health screening tool, and the Emotional Wellness Index.
